She was predeceased by: her parents, Jae N An and Ssi B Park; her husband Youn Soo Yu; and her grandchildren, Kyong Mo Yu and Sihyeon Ryu Stephans.

She is survived by: her daughters, Yu Byeong Sun (Jo Gyeong Hwa) and Myong Sun (Chuck Stephans); her grandchildren, Kim Sun Ock, Kim Jong Hun, Kim Sung Hun (Jo Ryeong), Jihyun Ryu Kim (Jason Kim) and Yu Soon Rang (Song Yong Sang); and her great grandchildren, Ko Da Mi, Ko Da Seul, Kim Go Eun, Song Yeon Hoo and Kim Han Gyeol.
