He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustin Navarrete and Maria Hernandez Navarrete; and his son Xavier "Moose" Navarrete. He is survived by: his wife Sally Chavez; his children, Juanchito Navarrete and Monica Bates (Isaac); his siblings, Efrain Navarrete (Rachel), Sally Fights (Kenneth), Lisa Marshall, Ismelda Cerda (Joe) and Abel Navarrete (Liz); and also, Lydia Barajas (Ramon), Elizabeth O'Brien (Matt) and Veronica Hayhurst (Bill). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
