She was predeceased by: her parents, William Evans and Midoriko Evans (Koiso); and her brother Billy Evans. She is survived by: her husband Max McConnell of Copperas Cove; her children, Shala Fondren (Billy Eakin) of Grandbury, Cheri O'Braden (Eric) of Belton and Shaun Alford of North Carolina; her siblings, Charles Evans of Allegan, MI., Teri Vodrey (Marvin) of Temple and Debbie Odom (Junior) of Killeen; her parents-in-law, Emma R. McConnell and Norman Oplinger of Copperas Cove; and her siblings-in-law, Larry McConnell and Silvia Martinez (Rob). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
