He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Downard and Betty Moore Downard; and his grandchildren, April Renne Lones and Drew Allen Downard. He is survived by: his wife Cora Downard; his children, Gary Simpson, Kevin Glahn (Tonia), Angela Kuntz (Todd), Rhonda Ippolito (Frank) and Tonia Miller (Roger); his sisters, Jane Tomlin and Bonnie Nutley; and his children, P. O. Box and Dallas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
