She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Clyde and Vera Stailey Owens; her siblings, Alice Kay Clayton and Danny Owens; and her nephew Bradley Parsons.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Brookshire; her grandchildren, Dakota Parsons, Darcy Parsons and Florence Parsons; and her great grandchildren, Bradley Parsons and Jayge Parsons. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
