She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Toon and Lucille "Fletcher" Toon; and her sister Bonnie Johnston. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Gaylon Watkins of Cooper; her children, Rachel (Thomas Darden) of Cooper and John (Courtney) of Cooper; and her grandchildren, Austin Darden of Fate, Sarah (Jake Smith) of Humble, Travis Darden of Cooper, Brayden Watkins of Cooper and Cohen Watkins of Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delta County Library, 300 W. Dallas Ave, Cooper, Texas.
