He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Holmes and Elise "Strong" Holmes; his wife Joy Holmes; his sister Brenda O'Brien; his daughters, Jackie Jones (Troy) of Cooper, Texas, Jan Funderburgh of Tyler and Jerri Lynn Holmes of Dallas, Texas; and his grandchildren, Daniel Jones, Jeff Jones (Renea Cook), Jason Jones (Kris) and Amy Parker (Jody). He was also cherished by 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 Nieces.
