It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosa Elizabeth Austin (Colleyville, Texas), who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ammy Ruble; her siblings, Polly, Rachel, Fred, Robert, Peggy, Clarence and Butch; her husband T. M. Austin; her son-in-law Dan Cobb; and her close friend Johnny Jeffries.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Cobb of Decatur, Bobby (Clarita Austin) of Florida and Larry Austin of Rhome; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Kidd and Bonnie Kidd. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Samaritans Purse which was an organization that was near and dear to Rose's heart.
