Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Merline Johnston (Colleyville, Texas), born in Fouke, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 92, on October 17, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Turner and Effie Turner (Reeder) of Texarkana, Arkansas; and her sister Maxine Smith (A. V. Smith, Jr.). She is survived by: her children, Tony Johnston (Ruby), Danny Johnston (Delta), Nolan Johnston (Karon) and Tamra Accetta (Robert); her friend Ann Perchard; and her grandchildren, Paula Kemper, Jacob Johnston, Gloria Morris (Chris), Eric Accetta, Chad Accetta (Kelly) and Ben Johnston. She is also survived by her great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Merline's honor to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choosing.
