She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Augustine and Clyde Wortman Cato; her son John Elinski III; and her siblings, Ethel Rose, Clyde Mae, Marion Clay, Mary Florence and Anthony Wortman.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Parkey (Gary Parkey) and Scott Elinski; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Alexandra and Austin Parkey.
