He was predeceased by: his parents, William E Neill and Roxie A Neill (Rushing); his grandsons, Andrew G McConnico, Steven Euwings and Stephfun Smith; and his brothers, Bobby Joe Neill and Russell Neill.

He is survived by: his significant other Inez S Reynolds; his sister Margie Gaede; his children, Joe Neill, Ronald Neill (Tanya), Jimmy Neill (Jennifer), Mark Neill (Dottie), Martha Phillips (John) and Rosemary Rene Neill; and his close friend Bill Simpson. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.
