She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard L. Patterson and Susie Holland Patterson; her former husband James Branan; her brothers, Herman Patterson and Claude Patterson (Pat); and her grandson Jared Lloyde.

She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Hartzog; her grandson James Lloyde; and her husband JB. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
