Lemmons (Colleyville, Texas), born in Graham, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Hammer and Ruth Sapp Hammer; her brother Larry Hammer; her husband Walter Lemmons; and her granddaughter Deidre Lemmons.

She is survived by: her children, Perry Lemmons (Kathy), Paul Lemmons (Debbie), Mike Lemmons (Donna) and Mary Lee (Kevin); her grandchildren, Jenny Magic (Scott), Kendra McLarty (Travis), Magan West (Justin), Erin Lemmons, Matt Lemmons (Dani), Valerie Wren (Jim), Beth Stevens (James), Chris Lee (Megan), Bryce Lemmons and Jessica Daffan (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Luke West, Oliver, Ian Magic, Ryleigh, Reagan McLarty, Waylon, Weston, Sylver, Warren Stevens, Dash, Merritt Wren, Walker and Wyatt Lemmons.

In 2020, during the pandemic, Betty moved to Louisville, Kentucky into "The BeeHive" to be near her daughter.
