With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patsy Sue Petty (Clyde, Texas), born in Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on August 3, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Honeycutt Bodine and Carl H. Bodine (James A. Petty); her brother Rex Bodine; and her grandmother McLeod Ballas. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Petty Brooks of Arlington and Diane Petty Lamb (Gary) of Dallas; her grandchildren, Carl Brooks of Grand Prairie, Nathan Brooks (Emily White) of Arlington and Megan Brooks (Chris Scofield) of Arlington; her great grandchildren, Destiny Brooks Lyons (Zack), John Connor Brooks, Holly Bailey Brooks, Charlie Brooks Scofield and William Riker Brooks; and her great great grandchild Lucas Russell Lyons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Central Presbyterian Church in Abilene, TX, or a charity of your choice.
