It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Ballard of Clyde, Texas, born in Ackerly, Texas, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley McGaugh and Annie Florence Deel; her spouse D. G. "Shorty" Ballard; her sons, Danny Ballard, Douglas Wayne Ballard and Perry Gilbert Ballard; and her sisters, Loveda Rosinbaum and Harlene Farmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Gibson of Clyde; her sisters, Sue Hilburn of Abilene and Dee Hines of Clyde; her grandchildren, Chris Allen, Tosha Cardenas, Renee Waggoner (Jeff), Dusty Allen, Justin Gibson (Amy), Nathan Ballard and James Gibson (Jimmy); her great grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Cedergren (Cody), Lexi Rex, Jacob Waggoner, Timothy Rex, Joshua Waggoner, Natalie Waggoner, Baylor Cardenas, Hollynd Cardenas, Jase Gibson, Madelyn Gibson, Jory Gibson, Elliott Gibson and Zeke Shock; and her great great grandchild Erica "Raylee" Valdez.
