She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bowers and Rebecca Bowers (Long); her son Jimmy Bowers; and her siblings, Joseph, John, Norman Bowers and Arlene McIntire.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Ash of Clyde; her stepchildren, Rosalie Post (Gregory) of Baird and Thomas N. Ash (Barbara) of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania; and her sisters, Nancy Davis of Schuylkill Haven and Mary Whalen of Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by two step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
