She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther L. Shepherd and Alice Shepherd; her parents-in-law, Kervy and Lilly Gaither (James Gaither); her sons, David and Kenneth Allan Gaither; her son-in-law Johnnie Howard; and her grandson Wade Howard.
She is survived by: her husband James Kenneth Gaither; her daughters, Brenda Howard of Clyde and Dorey Brown of Lubbock; her grandchildren, Heather McClure (Scott) of Abilene and Jason Howard (Allison) of Keller; and her great grandchildren, Megan McClure of Wichita Falls, Bethany McClure of Abilene, Jessie Howard of Nocona, Harper Howard of Keller, Bailey Howard of Keller and Ellis Howard of Keller.
