She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Clark and Betty Jane Clark (Gardner); her former husband Robert Monroe (Shorty); and her siblings, Anita Chapman, Karen Childers, Fred Givens and Michael Givens.
She is survived by: her sons, Darius Dashiell Monroe (April) of Springfield and Amasa Eythan Monroe of Richmond, Virginia; her siblings, Butch Clark (Vickie) of Huntsville, Alabama, Sue Morris (Greg) of Abilene, Trish Blazauskas (Ron) of Clyde and Linda Dodson of Merkel; and her grandchildren, Isaiah Monroe, Amara Monroe and Jazlyn Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
