He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Vasquez and Pabla Luera Vasquez; his wife Katherine Gomez; his children, Robert Vasquez and Janie Gomez; and his siblings, Fortunato Vasquez, Cathy Alfaro, Gloria Gomez, Felipa Ramos and Cecilia Vara.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Vasquez (Clifford Willis) of Clyde and Mary Paz (Carlos) of Abilene; and his sisters, Vicenta Contreras, Ernestina Coronado, Renalda Vasquez, Sandra Vasquez and Angie Hernandez. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
