He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Owens and Marie Owens (McCauley); and his granddaughter Amanda Owens. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Autrey Owens of Clifton; his children, Kevin R. Owens (Shuzi) of Lindale, Kimberly K. Owens Green (Boyd) of Longview and Robert E. Owens Jr. (Carlene) of Waco; and his siblings, Harris Owens (Doris) of Cleburne, Nancy Herrin of Cleburne and Betty Duckworth (Mike) of Cleburne. He is also survived by 9 grand-children and 10 great- grand-children.
