With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Sholley Light (Cleveland, Texas), born in Annville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hostetter Light and Emily Catherine Sholley Light; his wife Pat; and his brother Ralph Stanley Light. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Sue (Dan Darby); his friend Pat; his siblings, Doris Gerber, Carl Light and Marilyn Boeshore; his son Richard Kevin Light (Margaret); his grandchildren, Kelly Stevens, Matthew Darby, Emily Franklin, Kevin Darby, Rebecca Darby, Tim Light, Alex Light and Jake Light; and his great grandchildren, Lily Stevens, Valerie Stevens, Julie Stevens, Gus Darby, Nya Franklin, Emery Franklin and Cooper Frederick Light. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
On August 11, 2023, following a second battle with covid, Rick left his home on earth and entered his new home in Glory.
