He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Madden-Nadeau; and his son Derrick Jr.. He is survived by: his son George (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Brandon (Julianne), Lyndon (Kim) and Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Evan, Ian, Jack and Greyson; and his friend Tony.
