She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Eugene Ritz and Betty Lou Layton (Sims); her brothers, John Kirkley and Marty Kirkley; her stepfather Michael Layton; and her cousin Greg Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Mahlmeister of Mattoon, IL and Matteson Stacy (Tanner) of Fort Worth, TX; her siblings, Angela Freeman (Roger) of Lerna, IL, Jeaniene, Kimi McClellan of Seymour, IN and John Cunningham; her niece Stephanie Anderson (Matt) of Charleston, IL; her nephews, Gabe, Ean and Ethan Freeman of Lerna, IL; her great-nephew Grady Anderson; and her pets, Lucy Furr and Ethel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be given to the family to assist in funeral expenses.
