He is survived by: his wife Sherry Godwin; his children, Chad Whitney (Gina), Jamie Whitney, Adam Spaulding, Christy Spaulding, Jessie Spaulding and Misty Estrada (Elvis); his grandchildren, Brady Whitney, Karlie Whitney, Bryson Gregory, Gracie Gregory, Hayden Daville, Noah Daville, Zach Daville, CJ Spaulding, Bane Spaulding and Abby Estrada; and his siblings, Bettie Whitney (Bill Bagby), Linda Avila and Tommy Whitney (Charlotte). He is also survived by cousins and more friends.
