He is survived by: his former wives, Dorothy Gene Beers and Odessa Beers; his grandson Garrett Beers; his sons, Danny Beers (Susan) of McKinney, Jerry Beers (Pam) of Forney and Mark Beers (Karen); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Vonderchek (Rick), Shane Beers (Jennifer), Brent Beers (Mollie), Ashley Johnson (Casey) and Lauren Armburst (Dean).
