He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Martin and Edith Cunningham Martin; his brother Howard Martin; and his grandson Brandon Martin. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Childres Martin; his children, Curtis G. Martin (Sharon) of Deltona, Vernon W. Martin (Luz) of Clarksvile and April Purdue of Mooresville Indiana; his siblings, Ida Kischnick (Charles) of San Antonio, Dorothy Clark (Glen) of La Pine, Oregon and Hugh Creech; and his grandchildren, Carmen Downs, Tyler Purdue and Owen Purdue.
