He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Tortamase Scalisi and Maurice Scalisi; his daughter Bernadette Besse; and his siblings, Rose Thompson, Catherine Autin, Ann Stelly, Anthony Scalisi, Marion Scalisi, Jerome Scalisi and Bernard Scalisi.
He is survived by: his wife Gracie Scalisi; his daughters, Rachal Jordan (Jimmy) of China, Elizabeth Gallier (Jim) of China, Monica Roberts of Humble and Melani Porter (Gary) of Port Neches; his sister Mary Ann Fewell of Goleta, California; and his grandchildren, Jessica Jordan, James Jordan (Jennifer), Miranda Hager (John), Nicholas Besse, Brittani, Geoff Bess (Stacey), Lauren Scariano (John), Lindsey Gallier, Robert Coffey, Jared Gallier (Lauren), Summer Walker, Kourtney Roberts, Reid Porter and Garret Porter. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
