He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Matlock and Edwina Jones Matlock; his brother Russell Matlock; and the mother of his children Terressa Matlock Shields. He is survived by: his children, Heather Matlock and Cody Matlock; his grandchildren, Harley Eshliman, Johnny Eshliman, TessaEshliman and Ethan Matlock; his sister Susan; and his close friends, Jimmy Moore, Ashley and Liam Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
