He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Akridge and Edna Avis Akridge (Adkison); his wife Jan Akridge; and his siblings, Carolyn Fenley, Joyce Chandler, Susan Toomer, Jimbo Akridge, Benny Joe Akridge, Danny Akridge and Gene Akridge.
He is survived by: his children, Tara Jordan, Brandon, Leslie of Center, J. C and Amanda of Center; his grandchildren, Jake Jordan, Sarah, Kamryn Jordan, Shelby Akridge, Isabella Akridge, Raylee Akridge, Lauren Akridge, Wyatt Akridge and Jaidyn Akridge; his great grandchild Easton Lee Akridge (Carson Akridge); his nephew Junior Miller Numerous; and his grandsons, Kolby Jordan, Kason Jordan, Bo Jordan and Austin Akridge.
