We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2022, at the age of 73, Walter Sparks of Carthage, Texas, born in Nacogdoches, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mathis and Novie Mae Lewis Sparks; his son Walter Scott Sparks; and his great grandchild Kristopher Kiptyn Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Sparks; his children, Nicky Sparks Young (Morgan), Tripp Griffin (Katriana) and Matt Sparks (Abby); his siblings, Brenda Sparks Bradbery and Frank Maxie Sparks; his grandchildren, Michael Sparks (Kaylee), Colton Scott Sparks, Tyler Sparks, Jordan Snyder, Rowdy Young, Brodie Young, Alex Griffin, Marshall Sparks, Maddox Sparks, Ellasyn Griffin, Miles Sparks and Matilda Sparks; his great grandchildren, Stetson, Roxie and Steely; his mother-in-law Margaret Knabenshue; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Knabenshue (Sherry), Jimmy Knabenshue (Willie), Rick Knabenshue (Dawn), Kenneth Knabenshue (Celeste) and Julie Wilson (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
