She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Benson and Laveda Madelyn Vice Wimberly; her spouse Jimmie Luther McGuire; her siblings, Cecil, Carlos, Wayne Wimberly, Addie Mae Hartley, Inez Boyette and Gloria Lane; her daughter-in-law Loretta McGuire; and her grandson Austin Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Dwain McGuire of Carthage, David McGuire (Linda) of Carthage, Diann Wilhite of Fruitvale, Denise Gray Blissett (Jay) of Carthage and Dollie Aaron (Jerry) of Winter Garden, FL; and her sisters, Bonnie Fay Watts (Morgan) of Lufkin and Virginia Williams of Athens. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren and one on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
