It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray McDaniel of Carthage, Texas, born in Newton, Texas, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Robert; his wife Elizabeth Ann Lloyd; and his siblings, W. H. "Mac" McDaniel and Pat Brent. He is survived by: his children, Kim Housley (Jim) and Alan McDaniel (Sondra); his grandchildren, Reed Housley (Emily), Kaelyn Housley, James Housley, Ruth Housley, Will McDaniel and Lucas McDaniel; and his friend Ricky Dickerson.
