He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Perkins and Garl Dee Allums; and his wife Mary Burke (Sugar). He is survived by: his sister Gloria Barton; and his children, Michael Allums (Geri Odom) and Judy Kuczynski (Tom). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
