He is survived by: his wife Sue Oney of Carthage; his children, Wayne Oney (Naomi) of Gilmer, Gary Oney (Margie) of Chapel Hill, Cecil Forshee (Cindy), Beverly Allen (Matt) of Avinger, Sheryl Garcia (Oscar) and Robbie Cheshire (Jay); his sister Deanne Lawhorn of Longview; his grandchildren, Kimberly White (Kyle), Shelby Hawthorne (Nate), Madelyn Oney, Emily Oney, Olivia Oney, Alyssa Packwood, Elizabeth Swint, Ray Spence and Lucas Forshee; and his great grandchildren, Karson, Justin, Josh, Haley, Austin, Kaylee and McKenzie.
