We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Elanore Simpson Boone of Carthage, Texas, born in Evanston, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Simpson and Louise Scott Simpson; her husband Dan; her son Jeffery Scott Boone; and her siblings, Andy Simpson, Dixie Whitaker and Caroline Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Mandy Leggett (Paul) of Carthage, Tim Boone (Penny) of Carthage and Steve Boone (Janet) of Carthage; and her great grandchildren, Adam, Heather Leggett, Meagan Leggett, Abby, Matt Sparks, Kevin, Ashley Boone, Patrick Boone, Bryce, Lauren Boone and Olivia Boone. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, Elanore requested donations be made to her dear friend, Lee Gibson in care of St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 2000 W. Panola St., Carthage, TX 75633.
