It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonita Phillips (Carthage, Texas), who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Cleo Phillips; her daughters, Tammie Phillips Herndon (Brian) of Rockwall and Lauren Alyse Sheppard (Jon, Jr.) of Whitehouse; her grandchildren, Kenley Alyse, Chloe Alexis and Graham Kirby; her daughter Amy Elizabeth Sheppard (Matthew) of Bullard; her grandchildren, Madison Kate, Emma Elizabeth, Eleanor Rose and Henry Matthew; her children, Jerry Marcus Phillips (late Ronna Lynn) of Gary, Ashley Brett Bowen (Cody) of Gary, Erin Brynn of Gary, Ryan Douglass of Gary, Rhett Marcus of Gary and Kelly Phillips Wallace (Brian); her grandchildren, Claire Alexandra (John Ward) of Arlington, VA and Brice Everett of Arp; her family, Chris and Julie White of Gary; her children, Lindsey and Preston Byrd; her grandchildren, Paisley and Jackson; her son Jacob White of Denton; and her friends, Kent and Donna Elliott. She is also survived by three children and their spouses, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
