He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Neal Cheatwood and Iva Jean Pierce Cheatwood; his brother Curtis Cheatwood; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Cheatwood, Rodney Cheatwood, Joseph Lee and Charlie Collier.
He is survived by: his daughter Amber Cheatwood Whiddon (Aaron); his siblings, Janice Bonner (James), Roy Cheatwood (Jackie), Patti Hogg (Cleve), Carolyn Lee and Judy Choate; and his nieces and nephews, Jon Bonner, Jamie Briggs, Roy Gene Cheatwood, David Cheatwood, Patrick Hogg, Mark Cheatwood, Eric Collier, Neal Choate and Debbie Choate.
