We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2022, at the age of 83, Betty Jean Lawhorn of Carthage, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Brinson Ross; and her brothers, Bobby and Larry Ross. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Lawhorn of Carthage; her sons, Dale Lawhorn (Renee) of Carthage, Gene Lawhorn and Robin Bostick of Carthage; her granddaughters, Nikki Lawhorn of Huntsville and Carley Lawhorn of Carthage; and her brother Mike Ross (Sue) of Carthage.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to St. Jude's Children Research.
