She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Powell and Nannie Powell (Mour); and her husband John Henry Young. She is survived by: her children, Mona McFarland of Flower Mound, Texas, John Young of Carrollton, Texas and Tim Young of Carrollton, Texas; her stepdaughter Mary Ann Van Swearingen of Gladys Stone, Virginia.; and her grandsons, Eric, Murray, Jeremiah, Harrison and John Young.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greer Funeral Home (235 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mangum, OK 73554). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (115 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mangum, OK 73554).
