He is survived by: his former wife Marie H. Brodeur; his daughters, Natasha Simmons and Amanda Simmons; his grandsons, Jeremiah Parker and Joseph Templer; and his siblings, Charles Simmons, Robert Simmons, Laura Simmons, Jami Freeman and Tammy Ramirez (Alice Njeri).

I lost my mother to Covid-19 in December 2021 but was provided a measure of comfort in knowing that God sees our pain and deeply cares for us. (I Peter 5:7). May you also find some comfort in God's word recorded in John 5:28,29 which promises a resurrection hope for all of our dear loved ones.”
