It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ellen Carpenter of Carrollton, Texas, born in Clear Lake, Iowa, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Carpenter; her parents, Lester and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Bonnie Hanson, Wendell "Hook" Hanson, David Hanson, Betty Blick and Larry Hanson.
She is survived by: her former husband William J. Wilson; her children, Steve Wilson (Penny) and Linda Overstreet (Wayne); her stepson Randy Carpenter (Candy); her grandchildren, Stephanie Bridges (Brandon) and Daniel Overstreet (Madeline); her stepgrandchildren, Lauren Carpenter and Chad Carpenter (Lauren); and her sister Joyce Stille (Richard). She is also survived by friends and extended family.
