He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Oscar Semones and Nellie Mae Willis; his stepgranddaughter Kara; his wife Kennye Sue McGuire Gaultney; his sister Florence LaRue Christenson; and his children, Tanya Elmer (Jerry), Cheryl Elmer (John), Suzanne Semones, Grant Gaultney (Celeste) and Kara Gonzales (Keith). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
