He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ila Bost Roebuck; his sister Flora Nell Roebuck; his wife Sue Short Roebuck; and his stepchildren, Charles Roebuck (Niki), Clayton Roebuck, Larry Short (Leora) and Jeanine Short Thomas (Don). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (Fred loved kids) or the Alzheimer's Association.
