She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sparks and Wilma Akins Sparks; her son Waide Messer; and her brother Jack Sparks. She is survived by: her husband Theron 'Buddy Messer; her children, Jeff Messer (Donna) of Amarillo, Doug Messer of Amarillo, Randy Messer (Becky) of Oak Grove, MO and Janice Hughes (Michael) of Amarillo; her daughter-in-law Pam Messer Thomas of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Messer King, Joe Hughes, T. J. Messer, Jessica Messer King, Erin Messer Beasley, Amy Hughes Redus, Matthew Messer, Luke Messer, Levi Messer, Leigha Messer Barnes, Don Mark Hughes, Timothy Messer and Dustin Messer; and her brother James Waide Sparks (Claudia) of Roswell, NM. She is also survived by spouses; 32 great grandchildren.
