She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Pool and Katherine Terry Neves (Kate); her son Royce Johnson; and her brothers, Tommy Jack, Edwin and Willie.
She is survived by: her spouse N. F. "Shorty" Johnson; her daughters, Sharon Johnson-Hicks (Randy) and Carol Johnson Mitchell (David); and her siblings, Roy, Earl Lynn, Clara Ann Jennings, Rosalie Harrison and Bonnie Powell. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
