She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baughman and Evelyn Evans Baughman; her granddaughters, Brittaney Mary Watkins and Sarah Celest Appling; and her half-sister Mildred Ann Kotas.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Chumbley; her children, Leslie DeAnn Appling (Roy) of Borger and Gary DeWayne Chumbley (Sheila) of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Chandler, Garrett Chumbley and Jaylee Appling; and her half-siblings, Lilly Jo Kotas and John Baughman. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Autism Society of Texas, 300 E. Highland Mall Blvd, Austin, TX 78752.
