With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Elena Alderete (Canutillo, Texas), who passed away on June 16, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albina Alderete and Roberto Moreno; and her sister Hermelinda Sapien (Titi). She is survived by: her daughters, Rachel Ramirez (Lucio) and Kimberly Colbert-Guerra; her siblings, Grace Guerra (Javier), Jesus Alderete (Celia) and Roberto Alderete (Socorro); her brother-in-law Federico Sapien; and her nieces and nephews, Luis Ramirez and Adan.
