It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonarda Chavez (Canutillo, Texas), who passed away on August 31, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Gloria Chavez (late Ismael Mora Chavez); and her siblings, Salvador Gomez, Manuel Gomez, Lazaro Gomez, Matias Gomez, Jose Gomez, Humberto Gomez, Maria Molinar, Teresa Solis, Guadalupe Gomez and Angeles Gomez.

She is survived by: her husband Ismael Mora Chavez; her children, Jose Luis Chavez, David Chavez, Rosa Maria Rodriguez, Leonor Pacheco, Josefina Salazar, Ana Maria Hernandez, Cirilo Chavez, Cirila Chavez, Ismael Chavez and Irma Ochoa; her grandchildren, Luis Gadiel Chavez, Lizzette Saenz, Minerva Salinas, David Chavez Jr., Jesse Chavez, Hiram DelaO, Nicole Rodriguez, Alfredo Pacheco, Irene Torres, Aracely Pacheco, Josue Pacheco, Jonathan Salazar, Michelle Salazar, Crystal Salazar, Victor Hernandez Jr., Sarah Machuca, Rebeka Chavez Riso, Ismael Chavez Mora, Felipe Mijarez, Moneat Bingham, Adam Chavez, Celina Chavez, Ruby Irma Ochoa and Ruth Esmeralda Ochoa; her great grandchildren, Priscilla A. Saenz, Xavier I. Salinas, Galilee Salinas, David Aaron Chavez, Savannah Chavez, Judah Chavez, Christian A. DelaO, Caroline A.
