He is survived by: his wife Alberta M. Vargas of Cameron; his children, Miguel Vargas, Jr. (Cora) of Temple, Chris Vargas (Arcelia) of Cameron, Lupe Vargas of Cameron and Mary E. Castillo (Manuel) of Cameron; and his siblings, Jose Vargas (Josie) and Adela Corona. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
