He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Rieger and Bertha Buxkemper Rieger; his former wife Cecelia Voltin Rieger; his siblings, Gerald Rieger and Mary Ann Rieger; his wife Carolyn Baker Rieger; his brother James Rieger; his children, Leon Edmund Rieger, Jr. (Michelle) of The Woodlands, Ron Rieger (Brenda) of Waco and Cindy Rieger Rackel (Charles, III) of Temple, Texas; his stepdaughters, Deborah Sanoja (Daniel) and Paula Runnels; his grandchildren, Helen Rieger, Jennifer Rieger Streger (Nathan), Christopher Rieger, Matthew Rieger, Carson Rackel and Christina Rackel; his stepgrandchildren, Ami Wietzikoski (Eric) and Jamie West (Hershel); his great grandchild Michael Streger; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Case Williams, Haylee West, Kelsie West and Tripp Wietzikoski. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
